WHAT WE DO

Born out of a love for musical theatre, Lightbox Productions came to fruition (in a seedy garage!) thanks to the hard work and dedication of the three founding members; Peter, Darcy, and Jared. Three years later, Lightbox Productions has been more successful than ever, launching three shows in 2019.

Lightbox Productions prides itself on being a central, supportive team of individuals who promote the development of cast, crew, and creatives alike. With heaps of people who have been involved in community theatre production for years, everyone who joins the Lightbox family can know they’ll be in safe, experienced hands.

Lightbox Productions Inc would like to thank the Maroondah City Council’s Community Grants Funding Program/ Arts and Cultural Grants Scheme. In 2020, this scheme helped us to acquire our rehearsal speaker system, a huge asset to the company’s ongoing belief that we should remain at the forefront of technology and providing a high level of technical training wherever possible. In 2023, Maroondah City Council’s funding also aided our procurement of our rehearsal piano.
