What is 24 Hour Theatre?

In conjunction with Knox City Council and the Immerse Arts Program, Lightbox Productions presents 24 Hour Theatre! Taking place over the 26th and 27th of July at Knox Community Arts Centre.

Get ready to experience the excitement and creativity of crafting an entire theatrical production within a continuous 24 hours.

Oh yes, you’ve heard right; imagine putting on The Phantom of the Opera in 24 hours! The thrilling journey begins when the creatives, cast and crew gather at the venue, knowing they have just one day to create, teach, rehearse, design sets, lighting, sound, create costumes, and prepare props to bring a full musical play to life. And here’s the kicker: our production manager is the only person ahead of time who will know what the show is, adding an extra layer of anticipation and excitement to the process.
